The next thing you need to consider is the speed of the driver. The best combination is high torque and high maximum speed. Speed is measured in RPM or revolutions-per-minute. This is the amount of times your bit will spin around per minute. Look for an impact with a higher max RPM. This will help you drive those long screws through the hardest of materials at a faster rate. Any impact driver with 2200 or more RPM is considered fast.
DEWALT Heavy-Duty ¼" 18v Impact Driver: DEWALT products have long been known for their exceptional power tools and M&M Tool is excited about their 18v impact driver. This tool packs an authoritative punch along with all the features we have come to expect from DEWALT.
Another tip: for those of you without a regular floor jack, speed up the tiny scissors-jack that comes with the automobile and use the cordless impact driver rather than the tiny lug wrench.
