Some of the uses for impact drivers are just the same as other tools. Except, you will run into cases when this driver definitely makes your life a lot easier. BPM stands for "blows per minute". This is the number of screws that will be driven into a surface in 60 seconds. This is also another factor that should not be taken lightly. The higher the number of blows the better; this will determine the time that you will take to cover a particular area either drilling holes or screwing. The recommended capacity of blows is 2500 and above.
